God Wants You To Be Confident - Jeremiah 17:7-8

Do you consider yourself to be a self-confident person? What about a God-confident person? Is there a difference, or should there be? Over the next few weeks, we will unpack different aspects of confidence.

The truth is that there is a huge difference between confident people and insecure people.

In today's episode, we are going to discuss what attributes a confident person has vs an insecure person. We will also dig a little deeper into Jeremiah 17:7-8 because God has some specific blessings for people who put their confidence in HIM. God wants you to live a life of confidence.

Main Takeaways:

  • Trusting in anything but God leads to destruction

  • People who put their confidence in God fear less, worry less, and produce "fruit" even during seasons of stress

  • When we study God's word and seek to plant ourselves in His truth, we will live a life of contentment and confident hope.

Prayer:

Lord Jesus, your word says I can expect many blessings as I place my confidence and trust in you. This week, please show me areas where I haven’t trusted you and have put my confidence in something else. Heal my heart and remind me always to seek your approval first.

Amen
